Book Exchange – Sharing Together

As part of our Social Bookstore project, we have placed some of our donated books in these public book cells.
Anyone who feels like browsing can take a book with them here – or also place one inside themselves.
A small contribution to free book exchange.

Where They Are Located
One is located in Altglietzen, and the other three are in Oderberg.
One is by the Inland Waterway Museum, another is at the marketplace, and a third is near the playground in front of the Oderberg Sports Hall.
There is also one in Criewen, near Schwedt.

Reading Session in the Library at Wasserturm

On November 12, 2024, two of our colleagues read the fairy tale “The Little Goat That Could Count to Ten” by Alf Prøysen to children at the Library at Wasserturm. At the end of the event, the children were delighted with a thoughtful surprise: each received a pack of coloured pencils and could choose a colouring picture of one of the animals mentioned in the story.
